It was a great opportunity to step into another person's shoes! I had a lot of respect for teachers before this experience, but now have even more! Hats off to all those elementary school teachers!

This is my 19th year to participate in Junior Achievement in my classroom. My 5th graders love the program. Leigh Ann Taylor from NBC bank is doing a great job. Mr. Tom Blundell, still visits my classroom (he invented the cotton ball that attaches to a ribbon, that sits on shoulders at conventions) I met him through J.A. I think it is a fantastic program.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in the Junior Achievement Program. Mary and I had the best time getting to know our students. They were great and we really enjoyed the entire day.

This was my first experience with JA. I can honestly say that I did not know what I was missing. These children were so excited about having a guest in their classroom for a day and gave me the warmest welcome. The JA curriculum was both educational and fun. I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to doing it again.

My experience at Hawthorne Elementary was awesome! I had a great group of kids who were really excited about the program. Thank you Jr. Achievement for giving me the opportunity to impact the lives of our young children! Even if I just influenced one student, it was worth my time!

I love working with the kids and getting them excited and involved in learning about our community. We had so much fun from eating doughnuts that we made in our factory to rapping about how money is moved from bank to businesses. They are great kids to work with and had great time with them!!

Junior Achievement has just as much impact on the volunteers as it does the children. In teaching the kids about Free Enterprise and by sensing their interest, it inspires you to be better in your own personal life.

It was great to see students learn how they can contribute to a household, friendship, community event or school fund-raiser. The stories and activities presented to these children give them an avenue to understand how to make a difference in society. We talked about having pride in work, being able to save and spend responsibly, and sharing gifts with others after working hard to earn money. These are lessons that are taught at an elementary level, but applicable in all walks and stages of life.

Junior Achievement of Greater Oklahoma City is a great tool for financial literacy and it is rewarding for me the volunteer to participate. Sanford Jackson of Taft Middle School, is a great asset to the Oklahoma City school district. He participated in every activity and has the respect of his students. Thank you for allowing me to be a volunteer because for me, it is a humbling experience.
